I agree! You should always go for quality. I bought a cheap set of plastic furniture from a chain store a few months ago- after a few days of bad weather, the chairs were ruined.
I agree that when it comes to having any type of furniture outside that durability is above looks. Although it is important to have furniture that looks good it is even more important that it does not break.
I think we're all on the same page. When it comes to buying outdoor furniture, quality is important. Even if it is more expensive than its cheap, plastic counterparts, you don't want to have to drag your furniture inside every time it rains or snows. Last year, my husband and I saved up and spent a bit more money on a teak patio set. We're so glad we did!
Well these are hard times to find the right furniture or rather I must say the "orginal" and I think it is mainly because it is so easy to replicate now.
There are times when I myself an expert in woods get fooled. Patios are something that I didt take much interest for some time and then later on I got hooked.
Yes I agree, durability is a number one factor when buying patio furniture. Style is important too if you want to match it with the designs of your garden.
I also agree Teak is great for outdoor furniture. But you also can get great plastic funiture with great design. Phillip Starck is a great designer that designed some great chair that are also available on plastic and can be used outdoor. I also would invest a bit more money and get some good quality that last longer.
